Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you’re all enjoying lots of family time, food, Christmas movies, board games, and all the other Christmas fun you can have! I thought I’d share a little post about what I’ve done over the past couple of weeks to get into the festive spirit and celebrate Christmas!
It all begins with a Christmas tree! I usually put mine up at the start of November because, why not. At least I get to enjoy it longer! Then I like to make my room super cozy with festive bedding and pillow cases. In our living room we always get a real tree. I adore walking around the field of trees. There are always bonfires burning and the smell is simply amazing.
Festive baking! One of my favourite things to do this season. Every year I make tons of gingerbread cookies. This year I went kinda overboard as you can see… So I literally spent a whole day icing them. But look at them! So worth it!
Visiting Christmas markets is always so much fun, but it can be so hard finding actual good ones. We had picked out one in Amsterdam but it turned out to be absolute rubbish. Luckily we stumbled upon another cute little market which was way more fun and cozy!
The whole city was so beautiful and Christmassy! It was the perfect day to do some last minute Christmas shopping and to breath in the festive spirit.
I’m one of those people who actually loves wrapping gifts. I always put on a movie, this year it was one of my faves ‘Elf’ and just sit down with all my my presents and paper and ribbons and just take my sweet time.
So, that was my little Christmas roundup for this year. I hope you’ll all enjoy the rest of your Christmas and have a wonderful New Year!
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
