A couple of weeks ago, I went to Disneyland Paris again to spend some time breathing in the holiday magic! I am a Disneyland addict but I love it especially during this time of year. Everything is just a bit more magical. So I just wanted to share some photos that I took!
I mean, just look at all the decorations and lights! Main Street is one of my favourite places in the whole park. The music, the stores, and even the ‘snow’.
Of course we went to see the parade. It was a new one, the Stars on Parade. There were so many new things, and even some scenes from the parade in Orlando which I loved. Especially seeing the good ol’ firebreathing dragon. I don’t know why but I always love seeing parades in Disney, they are so festive and can only leave you feeling happy.
On the first day we ended up doing some rides in the Disneyland Park. Buzz Lightyear, Phantom Manor, Pinocchio and my fave, Pirates of the Caribbean. We had some pizza at Colonel Hathi’s Pizza Outpost. And of course I spent a lot of time just taking photos and enjoying the atmosphere. Looking at all the Christmas lights. After that we had dinner at the Steakhouse which was delicious, and had an early night.
We started the next day off in the Disney Studios Park. We had breakfast there and waited in line for Ratatouille until it broke down… Luckily there was only a short wait for Rock ‘n Roller Coaster so we quickly did that instead. We then headed over to the Disneyland Park for the rest of my itinerary (yes I make Disney itineraries).
We made it back just in time to go on Casey’s Train du Cirque and make it to the Christmas Parade. I have seen this parade so many times now but I still love it, it’s just so festive!
We spent the afternoon doing more rides. Snow White, Star Tours, Pirates (again). We also had lunch at the Cowboy Cookout Barbeque were I had the best burger, yum! After that, we headed back to the Studios Park to explore some more there. We did the Studio Tram Tours, Ratatouille (and this time it didn’t break down) and we went to a show called Mickey and the Magician. Which was such a lovely show! Oh and it was Mickey Mouse’s birthday so they sang him a happy birthday at the end of the show, which was quite special.
We had dinner reservations at Chez Remy, the restaurant in the Ratatouille area. It was the cutest restaurant. The waitress started by telling us that we were temporarily being shrunken to the size of a rat, so everything was oversized. The lights were under paper parasols and the chairs were beer caps. And also the food was delicious. I was just a little disappointed that the ratatouille didn’t look the same as it did in the movie…
We ended the day by watching not just one, but two nighttime shows. The first one was a new show in Studios. They had projections on the Tower of Terror and a spectacular light show. It was so lovely and Christmassy! Then we went back to the Disneyland Park, did some more rides, and watches Illuminations. Another show lots of music, lights and fireworks. I feel like the nighttime shows are an absolute must when you’re visiting any Disney park. Disney magic at its best!
On Sunday we spent the morning in Disneyland Park. Just wandering around the park a bit more, doing a few rides and of course a bit of shopping. We ended our trip with lunch at Planet Hollywood, one of our favourite places to eat in the whole place. They have the BEST nachos. So it was the perfect way to conclude a perfect, magical weekend. I am so ready for the holidays now!
