The summer is officially over and as Autumn is creeping in, I still wanted to share my final travel diary from my holiday in France! We visited a lot of different cities so this is a little summary of the second week we spent in Provence.
We used to go to Saint-Raphaël on our holidays years ago. I remember having my hair braided on the boulevard, and eating pain au chocolats on the beach in between dives. This time, we went snorkeling in the Mediterranean and had a delicious lunch. I loved strolling down the boulevard in this dress that I simply adore, I love the 60s vibe it has and it just reminds me of Dirty Dancing 2.
Another city that I have visited before a very long time ago. We visited the perfume factory for which the city is famous and of course brought some souvenirs. I tried lavender ice cream. Yes. Lavender. A very strange experience, that’s for sure… Also, how cute is this outfit, flowery matching pants and a crop top, I just thought it was perfect for summer!
I’ve already written a post about this little town but we visited it a couple of times after that. We went to this cute little market where they sold typical French things. Loads of different food, olives, garlic, bread, wine, but also bracelets, soap and so many other cute items.
We had originally planned on going to see some waterfalls, but after finding out that took a 4-hour hike, we made a new plan. We ended up in this tiny town called Mons, which had the most amazing view. You could actually see the yachts that were lying in the harbour of Cannes. So instead of hiking, we got lunch. A french cheese board to be exact. And be honest, did you ever see a cheese board as beautiful as this?
And that concludes my holiday in France. I had the loveliest time relaxing and having a good time with my family. But now, I’m ready for Autumn!
