Hi guys. It’s been a while! Sorry for the absence but I’ve just been extremely busy with school and work and (hopefully) graduating… I’ve basically been working fulltime and writing a thesis (which I just handed in so fingers crossed!). Good news is, I got a job! Two jobs actually! I’m going to keep working for the theatre where I did my internship for a while AND I just got accepted to work at a theme park yay! Exciting things happening. Little life update, but I thought I’d slowly get back into blogging by sharing some of the things I’ve been loving recently.
I used to have these EOS lip balms back when I was living in the USA and I used to absolutely love them. Especially the mint one, they just leave my lips feeling so smooth and soft. So when I saw I could order them online here I immediately did, hence the obsession once again …
My little plant collection. This is the newest addition, it’s an Aloe Vera plant and as you can see he needs a little help but I just think he looks cool. Also, I have three plants in my room at the moment and they’ve all been alive for a couple of months now, which is a new record for me!
This Modern Love. I got this book for Christmas and I have been reading it a lot recently. It basically consists of little letters about love. I just find it really nice to read a couple of the letters before going to bed, it’s such a nice and easy read.
Wide leg trousers have been my go-to fashion item recently. I am obsessed with the style and look of them. They are SO comfortable, especially since it’s been getting warmer they just feel so nice and flowy! I have a little collection going on now of all different kinds and patterns. Gingham, stripes, flowers, you name it, I love it! These are all from Bershka, Zara and H&M.
‘Ensemble, c’est tout’ has been one of my favourite movies for a long time. You know with movies you sometimes just forget how much you love them, until you watch them again and just immediately get addicted again. Well that happened to me with this movie. It’s a French film with Audrey Tatou and Guillaume Canet, not a typical lovestory but oh so romantic. Definitely reccomended!
I am one of those people who always forgets to drink enough water. Especially with warmer days upon us, it is so important to hydrate and I just stupidly keep forgetting. But now when I’m at home, I have made a habit of just filling a mason jar with water and things like mint and lime or lemon and just keeping that with me the whole day, refilling it as the day goes by.
Red lips. Classic. Timeless. I used to never be brave enough to wear a red lip, but recently I have been loooving it! I’ve been buying loads of different shades but a bright red or burgundy are my faves. I mean, I still go for nude shades a lot of the time, but every once in a while a bright colour can make your look pop! This one is one of my favourites at the moment, it’s the Catrice Matte 6hr Lip Artist in the shade 050 Fashion Reditorial. It’s super cheap but I love the quality!
Riverdale. Yes. I’m obsessed. I was super busy with my thesis and finals, so I decided to watch a new show on Netflix (sound familiar?). And Riverdale is just the perfect show to relax to. You don’t really have to think while watching it which is exactly what I need after a whole day of studying. And the whole style and atmosphere of the show, as well as the cast, are just really nice.
That was it for this post. I’m really looking forward to start blogging more again, especially with the summer starting! Let me know what you’ve been loving recently.
