As I mentioned in my previous post, I did quite a lot of shopping during my recent trip to London. And I figured, why not make a haul out of it! I didn’t actually end up doing a lot of clothes shopping because let’s face it, London is expensive. But I did manage to pick up a few bits and pieces that I’m really happy with!
First of all, we went to Platform 9 3/4 at Kings Cross station. Now I am the biggest geek and Harry Potter nerd, and I was so disappointed the queue for the photo-op was like 2 hours long. So instead of wasting my time there, I wasted it roaming around the gift shop for sooo long. It just felt like I was back at Universal for a while. All of the pretty merchandise, wish I could’ve just bought it all. I ended up buying this burgundy Hogwarts jumper and a Platform 9 3/4 patch to sew onto my denim jacket!
Next category: food. My friend Shelby got me Cadbury Easter Eggs since we don’t have those in the Netherlands and I had been dying to try them! And she also got me this Moroccan mint tea when we were at Camden Market from the Camden Tea Shop. So so lovely! I also got these Hersheys at the airport since we don’t have those here either (yes I am very sad about this). This last thing isn’t food but still related, it’s a Choccywoccydoodah tote bag! I used to be such a big fan of their TV show so I just had to get a little souvenir and I thought this was so cute!
So me and Shelby both looked through pretty much every Boots store to see if they had NYX stuff and eventually found one that had! So we were like kids in a candystore, trying out everything, our hands covered in swatches. I ended up buying two Soft Matte Lip Creams in the shades Cannes and London (well obviously I had to). And I also picked up the Wicked Dreams eyeshadow palette which is so so pretty! So glad I got to stock up on my NYX again.
Since I have started a little collection of Hard Rock Cafe tees, I had to pick up one in London. I just think it would be so nice to have one of every big city I visit. I thought the design of this one was so nice and vintage, and it is literally the softest thing ever.
And the last thing I got was this Levi’s sweater at Urban Outfitters. I have had my eye on this for a while and looked all around London for something similar. The colour is just so pretty and bright, and perfect for spring! So when I spotted it at Urban Outfitters, I decided to treat myself to it.
